Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
Nope. You don't make the top 30. To be honest, most of the top few posters have very few posts to their names ... they just came out of the gate long and then shut up.
The ten wordiest posters average 1190.5, 1188, 944.42, 863.5, 790, 737, 699.94, 647, 643, and 628.24 characters per post.
Are these the top ten you've already mentioned, those who post the most; or these the people who on average post the very most characters in a single post?
t edit xpost, never mind t /edit
And who are they? I neeeed to know!
You're not in the top 30, either, little lizard.
I didn't think so! I have too many one-line posts.
I'm just an irrepressible voyeur.
t edit now, that would have been a more impressive line if I had managed to spell "voyeur" correctly, wouldn't it have been?
Personally, I'm just as happy to know, I'm not in the top 30 windiest bastards on the board. This means I can continue to comment whenever my goat is gotten. (And if anyone gets it away from me permenantly, they can ship it to Tim.)
So who are the top ten?
IE always counts a forced return as two characters whereas Mozilla (which I normally use) counts it as one. I'm sorry that I didn't notice this before.
So, now, with your tweaks, the script works in Mozilla, but overcounts in IE.
Is that IE on Windows? Because I tested it on Mac in IE5 and didn't get that result.
Does this belong here or in Bureaucracy? Anyway, the blurb for the Unamerican thread just impinged on my conciousness:
Discussion of episodes currently airing in Un-American locations.
This isn't really accurate. It's more "Spoiler-free discussion for those currently living in Un-American locations (North Americans also welcome)" or something like that. We hardly ever seem to get around to actually discussing episodes.
Any better blurb suggestions? Can we make the change? Thanks!
Is that IE on Windows?
Yes. I don't have access to a Mac.
It's more "Spoiler-free discussion for those currently living in Un-American locations (North Americans also welcome)" or something like that.
That makes sense. I can do that.
