Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

Heroes 1: We Could Be Heroes

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the show and ancillary materials such as web comics! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. Chuffa, Chuffa!

FRYING THREAD!

This should be the name of the second heroes thread.

I would so like to see Peter just instinctively use Syler's telekinetic surgery finger to 1. Poke Syler's eye(s) out. or 2, plunge his finger into Syler's heart.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Mohinder has to last forever, because he's very pretty and has a lovely voice. Do you understand me, Juliebird?

I hear and obey, Topic!Cindy! Mohinder of the pretty and of the loverly voice shall live forever, so say we all!

*crosses fingers*

Re: Baby!Claire. Maybe they rescued her from Texas, brought her back to their HQ in NYC, figured out what they should do with her and decided to give her to HRG. Could it be possible that at that point, HRG lived in NYC? And then moved to Texas? Maybe they didn't have a "safehouse" or remote HQ to do business at in Texas, so when they decided to adopt Claire out, they had HRG come to them. We don't know how long they held onto her before handing her over, so it's not totally ridiculous. And they're the bigwigs, why make another trip when you can have your lackey come to you.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Soooo glad to have this new thread. I hated having to avoid all the BSG talk. I'm trying to stay unspoiled until I can see the eps for myself.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

good luck with that, quester. a friend of mine was only 2-3 eps behind and I told him, you better just sit down and catch up Monday or Tuesday or you will be hopelessly spoiled.

And he did get spoiled.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Unless all his narrations are his notes that are found after his death, so he could still get one last word in posthumously and close the season out with something vague and scientific.

so Mohinder=Mary Alice?

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm starting to think that just watching the show and not reading the comics, wiki and whatever might be a small handicap.

eta: Very strange. Only about half of my post showed up. I wonder whose strange talent could cause this.

grrr, that is not cool.

Do the comics explain where Hana was in her plan to storm the Bennet's with Ted and Matt?

Vortex, who's Mary Alice?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I'm starting to think that just watching the show and not reading the comics, wiki and whatever might be a small handicap.

The show's pretty much designed to be followed simultaneously on multiple platforms. Really, it's becoming evident that you have to both watch the show and read the comic to have a full picture of what's going on. Although, for the most part, I don't think there've been too many moments on the show that are terribly confusing if you've not read the comic, except maybe Hana-related stuff.

I do hope they're going somewhere with Hana. They've built her up in the comic so much that her sleight presence on the show is kind of frustrating. Still, they do take their time fleshing out plotlines, don't they?

I've been wondering a lot about the "Godsend" symbol. It's obviously important, but if you knock away the times it was used mostly incidentally, it's had three major occurrences: On the Haitian's necklace (and it's been focused on too much to ignore); On the hilt of Hiro's sword and as Ikkin's tattoo.

And yet, those are three characters I still can't draw a straight line through.
