Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

I've been working on a song about the difference between analogy and metaphor.

So, wait, if it was always Peter who blew up New York, it won't necessarily change anything if Hiro kills Sylar. Or it will change something, because Sylar won't become Nathan, but it might not change enough.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

What did Future!Hiro give Ando at the end?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Yeah, this is kinda messed up.

Sounds like Sylar needs to die AND you have to stop Peter from exploding.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

What did Future!Hiro give Ando at the end?

It looked like a 9th Wonders comicbook page. Well, it was also bloodstained, but I don't think the latter part was intentional.

I wonder at what point Sylar killed Nathan and took his place. Judging by Sylar and Peter's conversation, it was after the explosion in New York, so yeah, I'm not sure what killing Sylar really changes beyond some of President Petrelli's nastier policies. (Though the message has always been "Save the cheerleader, save the world" and not "Save New York." So maybe the Heroes do everything "right" and New York still blows up. Though I can't really see them going down that route.)

I was also sadly promoless. My DVR cut off right as the promo began.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

So, wait, if it was always Peter who blew up New York, it won't necessarily change anything if Hiro kills Sylar.

It will if Peter went nuclear in response to Sylar, that it was the only way to kill him. But, if Hiro kills Sylar, then Peter never has to nuke Sylar/NYC.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Eeee. Creepy Profit voice!

So. Damn. HOT. Mmmmmm, Profit.

Right. They have to stop both.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

So, wait, if it was always Peter who blew up New York, it won't necessarily change anything if Hiro kills Sylar. Or it will change something, because Sylar won't become Nathan, but it might not change enough.

Wait, I think I have this: it's in the vision Peter had, where he's about to blow up and everybody is fleeing him, except for Nathan. He's walking up close, presumably to fly him away to the moon, and there's some line about their deep, abiding brotherly love.

If Sylar replaces Nathan before that point, well, clearly Sylar (a) does not give a shit about Peter and (b) would be very happy to be elected president on a wave of paranoia, as the paintings predict. So he (as Nathan) doesn't arrive to put Peter on the moon, so Peter blows up New York (clearly his blowupping is not a danger to himself) and Bob is everybody's uncle!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Very interesting theory, Nutty. It makes sense. Have we seen Sylar kill someone with the ability to look like another person yet, or is that a power he still has to acquire?

As far as we know, Candice is still alive, so no.
