I think he did, when they were fighting on the roof - before they both (or was it just Peter) went over? Or I could be full of it.

I also think it would make sense that Peter would only be able to access Sylar's telekinesis, since that's all he's seen him use. His subconscious doesn't know about his other powers, so it wouldn't think to access them. Similarly, if he doesn't know what the Haitian can do, I'm not sure he could do it.
Did Isaac tell Peter about his future-painting when they first met? Because that's when he went back and drew the future in a hospital bed.
That is, he certainly saw Claude before he touched him, and I think joined him in invisibility.
Then again, that may just blow everything to bits. He could just absorb automatically, period.

Peter shared Hiro Timestop not only before touching him but before seeing him. I'm pretty sure he can get powers via simple proximity, though we don't know the distance.

The online comic deals with that. Syler-as-Narrator says, \"These bullet holes wouldn\'t be a problem if I\'d gotten that cheerleader. I've wondered where Peter got the prophetic dreams from that first got him thinkingobsessing about flying. Do you think that it could be that he was in contact with someone who had prophecy dream powers, like, say, Simone's dying father?

That makes me consider how Nathan was able to get away from HRG and "the Haitian" - I think "the Haitian" wanted Nathan to fly away.

Maybe it depends on the nature of the power. Even if Peter didn't touch Hiro, Hiro's power touched Peter -- in that Hiro came back into Peter's time, and stopped time for the place where Peter was (but not for Peter, himself). And Matt's mind was touching Peter's, if you see what I mean. Claude grabbed Peter and asked him how he could see him, so I do think it's possible (can't remember) that Claude touched Peter before Peter gained blinvisibility.
