Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Was it really just the keyboard? I figured the entire computer was smashed; I thought I could see bits of drive.

The evil is this way?

Mohinder came flying (running really fast, not Petrelli flying) at Sylar with his map and SLAMMED it into him, knocking him over.

That was my take, too. Then, after making the smart decision how to stop Sylar from killing Peter, Mohinder became deeply stupid by not killing Sylar. Mohinder knew that Sylar needed to be killed and even had his big farewell speech already. Idiot.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yeah, but there's a big difference between shooting someone and beating him. Plus, when Mohinder was going to kill him before, he thought that Sylar was disabled.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

It was a laptop, if I remember correctly, so smashed keyboard pretty much = smashed computer.

As for Mohinder, he's pretty and has a lovely voice, but I am not at all impressed with his brainpower. Apparently that frickin' brilliant tuning-fork-torture was just a fluke (maybe he read it on the intarwebs somewhere).

Gorramn y'all are making me want to read the comics. I don't have tiiime, I have three weeks to write my dissertaaaation.

Una, you can read the comics AFTER your dissertation is done. They'll still be new and different in three weeks.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Mohinder had the presence of mind to smash the computer but not Sylar. dumb as a rock.

Kate, Au Co is a Vietnamese woman with the power to make crops grow. Linderman and Petrelli's group was ordered to take her out (they initially thought "Au Co" was a village to be destroyed).

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Thought: is Mohinder's dumbness just due to meta needs? Is it possible he was intended by the writers to be dumb as a box of rocks from the beginning? Academic talent does not necessarily keep you from acting in extremely stupid ways in every other area of life. Some of Mohinder's choices in past episodes don't show the greatest judgment. He makes smart moves on occasion, but they are usually outnumbered and outweighed by bad choices. Which fits well with someone with the capacity for intelligence who fails to use it.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I mean, his superpower is understanding how things work -- he of all people should realize that smashed keyboard != unrecoverable data!)

I thought that Mohinder smashed the computer, or it was smashed in the brawl, but it really didn't look like the hard drive was there. So I figured that Mohinder had the presence of mind to take the thing. It's possible I'm giving him too much credit, there.
