But Peter can save people with other powers too.

You're right. But the whole purpose of Peter's getting the healing power was to save Hiro, who always turns back up again. Now that heal-o-boy is dead, you'd think Peter would have held on to that power unless there was a compelling reason to give it up. Chasing Nathan, NSM.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If Hiro doesn't prioritise his health, why should Peter rank it over his own family?

Can you tell I'm exasperated with Hiro's decision-making process? I don't think he deserves to be saved despite himself, not at the expense of others. He has to play along too.

Good point. Anyway, I guess Hiro can flit Peter back in time to absorb heal-o-boy or Linderman or some other healer's power.

That's true. . . assuming that Hiro maintains control of his time-shifting abilities.

Was Samuel trying to erase Hiro's memories? I can't decide where I think he went based on what he said.

And, it looks to me like they are setting us up for a big Samuel vs. Sylar confrontation.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I love Zachary Quinto more than should be possible (let's not discuss how many times I watched Trek '09), but last night, despite the ZQMF love, I was completely bored by Sylar. Can they have a different Big Bad? Ever? (I know, probably about the time they actually kill a main character for keeps.)

I'm wondering if he won't wind up on the "good" side of things.

Again? How much can they waffle with him?

Well, do you think he's going to team up with Samuel?

And given that nobody who had powers that were as big has them anymore - why would they do that?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, he's constantly shown an inability to give a damn about anyone but himself. He can take powers without killing, but he kills because it pleases him (unless it's a kid, because that would just be cold). So I'd be very unconvinced if he joined up with anyone or decided to stop killing without a damned good reason.

Nathan inside him might be that reason--depends on the writing. But on a meta level, the writers are just grabbing at straws to keep Quinto on the show.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I forget- can Peter take more than one power away if he's come into contact with Sylar or can he only use multiple powers if he's in the room with Sylar?
