I'm setting my tv timers for tomorrow night and reading the description for Heroes. Is the show opting for the split cast/alternating episodes like Farscape did with the two Crichtons?
'Never Leave Me'
Heroes 1: We Could Be Heroes
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the show and ancillary materials such as web comics! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. Chuffa, Chuffa!
Alternating episodes is basically a way of doing things cheaply. Well, usually.
I can see that, and I can see the actors being all over the extra breathing room --except for Quinto, who seems set on smothering me in his three incarnations on the show.
I'm just wondering if this is a good opportunity to watch Lie To Me during the Hiro episodes.
Oh, God, I hate Hiro. Why? Why does he exist?
Quinto is probably the biggest thing that show has going for it in terms of retaining an audience. He's Spock!
Quinto as Sylar is that top ten song that I used to love but now hate because every radio station overplayed him.
I actually kind of like the Parkman/Sylar duo. In fact, I wish Sylar would take over Parkman and we'll get Dark Parkman for a while. He has the potential to really be dark.
Dark Parkman would be fantastic. I'd really love to see Matt used as a cautionary tale. Sometimes I think they might be going there, but they never seem to have the cojones to actually do it.
As much as I love the ZQMF, Sylar is overused. I did quite enjoy his snarktasticness last week, though.
I love Sylar. He's given me the tag that I've had for the last ever. I loved the Mo and Sylar Cross Country Hoyay Caravan of Death. I hung in there when he was driving around ole Mexico with los gemelos aburridos. I kept going when the show asked me to believe that Sylar and Elle were a viable couple when Mo was right there for the taking post 3M. I even hung in there through Sylar/Delko because that was creepy fun if nonsensical. But this Sylathan and the Sylar in Matt's head is killing me. As much as I enjoy Sylar getting his bitch on and making Matt mildly interesting again, he really, really needs to die now. Or at least to go far, far, far away for a very long time.
I think I want full-out little Sylars and Matts appearing on Dark Parkman's shoulders and arguing with him what he should do next.
I am perverse and I love cliches, what can I say?
Be sure to let me know if they actually do that, as it might motivate me to start watching again.
