Just as Heroes was gaining some creative momentum comes word of another setback: Bryan Fuller has vacated his post as consulting producer.
The acclaimed Pushing Daisies auteur tells me that he left to focus on developing new projects for NBC, and not (as some have speculated) due to creative differences with series creator Tim Kring.
"I'm crafting two pilots right now and it's a lot of work," admits Fuller, who has an overall deal with NBC. "It was just too hard to [juggle] Heroes and my development; something had to give."
Fuller's exit was first reported by Herc at Ain't It Cool News.
Fuller returned to Heroes last December, shortly after ABC dropped the ax on Daisies. Many (yours truly included) credited him with the show's end-of-season creative rebirth.
Reaction to Fuller's exit? Are you as bummed as I am? Sound off below!

Feh. OTOH, new Fuller projects to hope for.
True. Let's hope if they get picked up, they either get more than half a season or they are planned for only half a season.
Yep, new projects unhampered by the baggage of crappy storylines and nonsensical characterizations past, and with no need to center everything around an actress whose greatest talent is not having pores.
So, how many people are back this season?
I have decided to quit "Heroes" (long overdue, I suppose). Anyone hanging in there?
I've got my DVR set up for it. I figure if I don't make it through the first episode, I'm done. I still like the actors. And the characters, when they aren't being sabotaged by the writers.
At this point, it's effort to delete it from the tivo (not much effort, but still). I'll give it a shot this season. If it doesn't wow me, I'll let it go.

I couldn't begin to face the second half of last season. I might try this season for an episode or two. That is, if someone's willing to recap for me. Something about shape-shifting powers, was the most interesting thing I heard from my friend who insists on continuing to watch...
I'm here, if only because it's kinda like watching a train wreck. I mean, really; the Sylar-Nathan thingy? Stupiedest idea in the history of stupid ideas. I thought Noah, at least, knew better.
Plus, RAY PARK. eeeee!
