They definitely should have made Daphne a big deal. Matt didn't even seem all that broken up about it.
Considering he met her, fell in love with her, and convinced her she was in love too all in about 30 minutes, maybe his period of mourning just happened during a commercial break?
He got revenge instead of a mourning period.
Yeah, Matt did take a bunch of mercenaries out in the immediate aftermath. But still... yeah, I expect more breakdown from a guy who believed she was His Destiny.
If I ever figure out why I keep watching Heroes, then I can start working on their motivations. sigh
Heh. My motivation at this point is "I can't wait for Bryan Fuller to come back."
Will that table sit another? At the very least, I figure Claire's motivations and dialogue will start to make sense once he returns.

It was a nice harkening back to the first episode, and I liked how, for that moment at least, the two of them seemed to have come to a bit of peace with their contentious past.
