Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

One thing... wouldn't Claire remember Mohinder as the guy who freaked out and shot her dad temporarily dead? Peter might have more company being pitched out of that hole in the fusilage.

Visilurking

See that would make sense if they hadn't all been blank-slated for the new chapter. Try to keep up.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Sadly, Matt is still Matt.

Speaking of whom, not only did Usutu have, as Jess put it a while back, the worst power ever -- clairvoyantly painting the life of Matt Parkman -- now it seems he's also cursed having to haunt the guy after death.

Usutu's probably thinking, "Why? Why me? What did I do to deserve this!"

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Usutu's probably thinking, "Why? Why me? What did I do to deserve this!"

And I'm left wondering if he really exists at all, or if he's just one of the strange ways Matt's powers manifest after one too many late nights watching The Legend of Bagger Vance.

If he's a delusion, he's a persistent enough one to be shared by Hiro, Ando, and Arthur Petrelli when Parkman's on the other side of the world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Before or after his death?

Before, but I thought the speculation was that he was Parkman's hallucination from his first appearance.

I thought he appeared after he died. Anyway, I thought she meant after his death.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

On a side, nit-picky note, that scene was muy distracting to watch because in some camera angles he had his staff across his shoulders and in other angles he was holding it in front of him, it was just instantly popping back and forth while the angles changed. Granted, it can easily be hand-waved as "freaky hallucination effect" or whatever, but their shot continuity person was apparently sleeping during that scene.

I assumed it was on purpose.
