I thought Peter would get his powers back too after the eclipse was over.

I was expecting Peter to get shot, only to discover he'd mirrored Samedi's invulnerability power and survive.

I'm totally okay with it, since I thought it was a stupid idea in the first place.

PC is me. I've never liked the idea, and thought Mama P was manipulating Sylar from day one. I was disappointed when it was seeming more and more like it was the actual truth.

Is it just me, or do the writers have absolutely no clue WTF they're doing with Sylar? He's evil. No, he's a Petrelli. Now he's an evil Petrelli. But still kind of good. Sometimes. Wait, he doesn't have to kill, he's an empath just like Peter and gaining powers that way feeds the hunger! Nevermind, he does have to kill (or at least likes doing it.)

And what's up with HRG not putting a clip into Sylar's brain just to be sure after cutting his throat? He knows better than that.

It's certainly not just you. I'm glad they've at last come to the conclusion that Sylar is more fun when he's evil and killing people.

Well, it was the eclipse. He didn't really consider that Sylar might get his powers back or that he could get them back after he actually died, which makes no sense, but I guess death works differently in Heroes-land.

Eclipses work differently in Heroes land. Me and a friend do a Heroes podcast after we watch each episode, and talked about a lot of the above. I don't even understand what the point of having the eclipse was, really.

Bah - did not like everyone's powers coming back after the eclipse. C'mon, show - TWO MAJOR CHARACTERS DEAD! Two major white characters, no less! For a split second there before the sun came out, I was totally hooked again. Oh well.

I also assumed that powers would be coming back when the longest Eclipse in the history of eclipses was over. (Which is why HRG should have beheaded Sylar.)
