To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Presumably Adam was the reason that Petrelli was stuck in bed, so there may have been a little bit of resentment to work out there.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

We can always hope that Papa P also sucked the stupid out of him.

Peter's superhuman powers may have been merely varied and vast, but I believe his reserves of stupidity to be infinite.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Peter's superhuman powers may have been merely varied and vast, but I believe his reserves of stupidity to be infinite.

I still think he got that power due to proximity to Mohinder, who obviously didn't lost that when he got his new abilities since he voluntarily took the hand of the woman he KNOWS CAN TURN THINGS TO ICE!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh, man. I thought Pops sucked peoples lives out, I did't realize he sucked their power! No wonder Monroe shriveled up, he should have been dead ages ago.

That was actually pretty slick. I was pleased.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

he voluntarily took the hand of the woman he KNOWS CAN TURN THINGS TO ICE!

I didn't realize I was sick of Mohinder until I heard myself saying, "yeah! yeah! freeze his ass!"

I finished the episode still unsure if I'm enjoying the season. The stupid is killing me. I mean, I'm glad it turned out OK in the end but did Claire not read the puppet master's dossier? How could she not zap him when his back was turned?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Adam nooo!

Didn't Mama Petrelli see Adam in her dream of all the villains invading Level 5? I mean, I know that's no guarantee, but I want Sark back!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I am so sad that Adam died because he cracked me up with the snark, but I am so happy that I liked this week's episode so much better.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

DH and I have decided that the Petrelli family superpower is actually the ability to survive comas. Seriously, has anyone other than Claire from that bloodline not spent at least one episode comatose this season?

meara - Oct 25, 2008 12:03:28 pm PDT #3904 of 5028

Well, Claire was kinda DEAD, this season, when Sylar took her power, which is sorta like a coma, no? ["But she got better!"]
