Art Crawl!!!

Cool.

Comics Continuum has video of part of the panel. How cute is Jack Coleman taping the audience?

Art Crawl!!!

I've been enjoying the new Hiro-centric teaser for Heroes. Who is that very fast woman?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I have to admit, the Comic-Con panel WAS cool, simply for the fact of showing the episode. I've honestly no idea why the actors were there, as most of them didn't have chance to say anything. The Q&A session was AWFUL. The first woman got up and said she was hard of sight and asked Milo to come and say hello to her face, the next guy said he camped out all night to be there (loads of people did) - got cheers from the audience - and then said he hadn't actually SEEN Heroes and asked if one of the cast members could tell him what happened in the first two seasons so he didn't need to watch them...

And it went on. And on.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

And think of all the people who were fans who didn't get to ask a question.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Can anyone stand in line to ask a question or do you have to write down what you want to ask and they pick you?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Even if he was deliberately being a dumbass, that was still such a waste of time for other legitimate questions. Grrr.

"Kryptonite" came up on my shuffle and with Heroes on the brain today, I wondered if anyone had ever done a fanvid to it. Must hunt through the jungle of YouTube to see.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Can anyone stand in line to ask a question or do you have to write down what you want to ask and they pick you?

Anyone can stand in line, but they usually have someone vetting the questions, so they ask you what you're going to ask, and if it's stupid, they kick you out. But if they approve what you say and you get the microphone...you can pretty much say whatever unless they hit the killswitch.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Anybody can ask a Q. They say they screen them, but there's no way that happened in this panel.

The camping guy seemed shocked that people boo'ed him. Some people are too stupid to live.

It seems to be standard at Cons to formulate questions in the following manner:

  • say you have some kind of medical problem and expect sympathy,
  • tell everybody you have some kind of connection with the guests. Like "I was the first person to ask you a question at Blah Blah con. Do you remember me?". (that happened at the heroes panel).
  • insult the actors and/or writers by telling them they suck (like the person from last year who told Ali Larter she's a rubbish actress).
  • ask a question which makes absolutely no sense, making sure you take 6 minutes to do this.
  • or if REALLY desperate ask a thoughtful, intelligent, respectful question
