'kay, so I'm very very belatedly catching up with Season 2 on Pirate DVD, and realising that I didn't see the finale of Season 1 (pesky cheap-ass pirate DVD salesmen!), and I have spoiled myself slightly already, but I have to say - OMG Molly and Her Two Dads is UNSPEAKABLY cute, and I really need someone to point me to the fic that must be out there 'cause I definitely didn't see THAT slashgasm coming. Blessity bless bless!

Also, I have been cracking the fuck up at how much nekkid and oiled-up Peter Petrelli there has been thus far. Dude. You are in Ireland. It is raining and it is night time. I'm here to tell you that you should be COLD and your nipples would be a damn sight pointier than they presently are in your strangely jumperless state. Put some clothes on. ....so far, I'm not hating it. (I guess I've seen 4 episodes or so.) And still I find myself having to exclaim incredulously at the sheer prettiness of Mohinder every time he's onscreen. Oh, also loving wee Micah and his lovely cousin and the fabulous Nichelle Nichols (although now I'm starting to half-expect William Shatner to arrive at some point, which is a bit scary).

And David Anders! Well, I'm just happy to see him on screen with Hiro, because I heart them both lots. And I continue to be really quite impressed by his English accent, of which the worst that can be said is that it's a touch generic - but really very good, imho.

Oh, Mohinder, you are so pretty. And so dumb. Which, okay, not unheard of for an academic, but, seriously - DUMB DUMB DUMB! You're pretty much a bimbo - in fact if you were played by a chick I'd be getting pissed off, because I think your superpower is managing not to get yourself killed despite being really really dumb. Since you are, instead, an unspeakably hot Indian boy with a lovely accent who is married to Matt! ....yeah, I'm good. You're just lucky that your husband is made of awesome.

See, this is an interesting experience, watching the show without knowing anything about fannish reaction. I wonder why that was? The hating, I mean? 'Cause he's not pinging me as especially annoying, just - you know, high school boy. eta and I don't mind Maya either. I'm not all 'yay, their plotline again!', but I don't want to throw things at the screen.

...really, I could quite happily watch Molly's Two Dads, with guest appearances from other people from time to time. There should be lots more Matt and Mohinder. And Mohinder should have to have that Peter guy's nekkidness clause written into his contract while he's distracted by something shiny. Yes.
