And when Peter and Claire had scenes together, I might've yelled it, too. Just a little. Maybe
I actually think that a lot of this season was contrived to separate Peter and CLaire, and Peter and Nathan for this very reason. Also, I kinda ship Peter and Claire. Especially if they are now going to live forever.
I don't think Peter will, since he seems to have trouble using more than one power at a time.

He seems to have trouble consciously using more thann one power at a time. But the healing thing seems to be automatic.
Although, if Claire lives forever, is she going to be stuck at the age she is now? Because David Anders looks the same as he did in ancient Japan!
I think I read somewhere that someone figured that Claire would basically age until she became an adult and then stop there. Because the aging she's doing now isn't detrimental to her health. Once she hits her mid-twenties, she'll stay that way forever.
Hee. I was skimming
X-Men 3
for Ellen Page scenes, and I just noticed that Maya was in this too!
Thinking of lost, I'm starting to think that part of Joss' genius was following Buffy S1 with S2. Both Lost and Heroes have been a disappointment.
And Veronica Mars....damn. Go Joss.
I'm starting to be so sad about being on the West Coast and not being able to do watch and post. But basically, what y'all said. Was so happy Maya got shot, and so sad she came back. And I totally thought the company ahd another Candace, when Noah came back to the fam and was all weird.
when Maya was dead on the floor I turned to my roommate and said, "a lot of Buffistas are very happy right now."
The episode was playing on G4 last night when DH was channel surfing. Just before she got shot. I made him wait, then let him change the channel again before things took a turn for the worse.
Gee, maybe they have a brilliant plan that will make us happy she recovered?

I hope so. I know it goes counter to the conventional sentiment around here, but I was actually annoyed she was shot -- it took a plotline that went nowhere and gave it a pointless ending. If they're going to stick us with a character, I at least want her to go somewhere.
The "finale" felt very much like the middle for both Maya and Monica. Which, under the circumstances, it pretty much was meant to be.
