Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I can't imagine they'd get Claire, take her to NY in order to get her blood, bring her back to her family, shoot HRG, take him to NY, and give him Claire's blood. It seemed pretty easy for me to assume they've got a local secret lair, since it seemed like it was the same exact room. Or did I miss something?

Also, I'd buy that a blood transfusion can do its magic for the 20 some days blood cells are in the body before being recycled. Magic blood after that will make me cranky.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I know they didn't take Claire to NY. Tobby took her blood right in his hotel room.

Like I said, I'm willing to suspend my disbelief because I like HRG and I like the show, but it was hard to swallow for me. Obvi, not so for others. I'm much more distrurbed by the whole magic blood reveal itself then by the who/what/when/where/how logistics. I don't like that there's this deus ex blood out there now. Someone died, just give em the juice! Shot in the head? Don't be sad, sunshine. I got something that'll fix you right up. You can be almost, well and truly dead, got shot, brains blown all to hell, and we can fix you up good as new. I don't like it. It feels like a cheat. I fully expect Peter to bring back Nathan with the magic blood next season and, as much as I looove me some Nathan, I won't like it. So even if I'm going to believe that filmy, clouded over white eyes means only mostly kinda but not really, truly dead, I don't know why the damn blood worked in the first place. In a story where I'm happy to accept exploding men, time travelers, shape shifters, mind readers, pushers, and even annoying, bowl cut, teenage flying perverts, this grated.

Trust my rage

I love Mylar because it's wrong and twisted and dark. And some down and dirty hate sex? Bring it. But the last thing I ever would want to see is some woobified, twu wuv crap.

This is so me. I don't know what it says about me, but there it is.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I like enemy slash like Mulder/Krycek where the "enemy" half is at least a little ambiguous. SYLAR EATS BRAINS. AND HIS PORTMANTEAU SUCKS.

So, not my beautiful cake, is what I'm saying, not that I'm trying to be obnoxious about it. (The Matt/Mohinder portmanteau is, naturally, Matthinder. *sigh*)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Mulder/Krycek

Mrycek or Krulder is better than Mylar as a portmanteau? I don't think so.

FTR, I agree with this. Maybe when they start fixing problems post-strike the Mayas of the last chapter will just disappear without explanation, and we can get back to better story-telling.

Did I use a portmanteau? I did not. Because they are wrong and evil. When I got into slash, there was none of this portmanteau business! Even if people didn't know how to spell the characters' names. You just had to sit in front of your computer and yell at invisible people about misspelling "Krychek".

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Here's a thought - what if Maya's black oil power is a form of the Shanti virus? So by bringing her back to life, Mohinder has doomed humanity to a horrible virusy death even though the Bros Petrelli managed to stop Adam?

It would also please me if the magical healing blood didn't work against death-by-Maya.

(This is me, grasping pathetically at straws that would give Maya's continued existance a frelling point.)

My biggest gripe in this category is Peter. Simple exposure to another power and it becomes his own, to use at will indefinitely? At least Sylar has to kill to "earn" his power, but Peter? He could absorb Molly's power, than locate and teleport in and out of every place with a powered human and absorb every power out there. And if the power's not out there anymore, hell, he could jump back in time and get it anyway (like Linderman's healing touch).

Seriously, if Peter had half a brain, he'd be a god by now.

Our wings are not tired.

Seriously, if Peter had half a brain, he'd be a god by now.

They seemed to have dumbed him down since he lost the emo lock. I didn't think he started out so stupid.

My fervent wish is that they spend a bit of time overthinking the powers because it's not as much fun for me to overthink them if the writers don't.
