I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

She was stroking Peter without shockingn him some of the time, wasn't she? Seems like when she did the shocking it was from a short distance. Though I would readily believe that she didn't have such good control as a kid.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

And totally batshit crazy to boot.

Which is what makes her awesome.

Yeah, that was amusing. I liked that scene, but I'm still having trouble buying Kristen Bell as a dangerous sociopath.

I don't. Mostly because sociopathic is creepy enough, but a sociopathic pixie is way creepier.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Maya and Alejandro are the ones that I hate. . . both Monica and Elle were introduced in the story of one of the established characters which makes them feel more organic to the show. Well, at least to me.

Y'know what would've worked A LOT better? If the first time we'd met M&A was when they stopped their car to help Sylar. The guy with Claire's car could've been left out completely. Their power could've remained hidden until they met the border patrol people. THAT would've been a HSQ moment -- for both us and Sylar! Then last night's backstory would've been actually useful.

Art Crawl!!!

Jon - that would have rocked. We'd all be worrying about these poor people in the car with Sylar and then - boom! No need to worry.

Plus, much less weepy Maya.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

speak like she did on The Nine

THANK YOU. I wondered where I knew her from!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

If the actress just used what I assume her native accent and speak like she did on The Nine it would be so much less distracting. For me.

Ohhhh. She was good on that show. Too bad about the accent.

Jon is so right.

As is Daisy.

Visilurking

I wanted Micah's birthday wish to come true. That would have been awesome.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Great idea! Because, really, it's not like we needed to see them do their schtick for weeks straight before that.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."
