We're not going to get it. I can't decide if I'm irritated, or glad that it leaves space in canon for fic. I think irritated, because it would have been so cute onscreen.
Also, Kristen Bell seems to be having fun, but is it too much to ask for a female character who's not damaged in some way? Niki, Maya, now Elle...
