To me West is a typical outcast teen who suddenly discovered that he has an extraordinary talent. I don't think his referencing of "aliens vs. robots" is evidence of sociopathy. In my day we called those who were not as enlightened as us, "plastics" and if I'd discovered a super power you can bet I would have made them pay a lot worse than they'd hurt me.

Heroes 1: We Could Be Heroes
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the show and ancillary materials such as web comics! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. Chuffa, Chuffa!
Ausiello confirms that they are shooting an alternate ending to episode 11 that could stand as a season finale.
And it's not even bad New Orleans. It's bad generic southern.
We just caught up last night. My wife said, "Are there no black actors in LA from the South?"
Also, on the Nikki/Jessica continuum, I suspect they may have made a deal with Jessica and gotten rid of Nikki. Everything about Ali Larter's body language said Jessica to me.
Yeah I think Ali Larter is very good at protraying the differences between Nikki and Jessica and I was sure that was Jessica. OTOH maybe she was trying to play both personalities integrated.
"Are there no black actors in LA from the South?"
Yeah, and are there no struggling Irish actors anywhere in the States?

Sorry, all actors must come from L.A. Or possibly Canada.

Well then they could at least have done a teeny tiny bit of research and realised the ludicrousness of security guards in Ireland having guns when, y'know, our police don't have guns. At least they got the rain right. But not the thunder.

I'm fully prepared for the next shots of New Orleans to include majestic mountains in the backdrop.
So I caught some of the Heroes marathon on G4 this weekend and I realized that if you just cut out the Hiro in Japan storyline and kill the damn gemelos already, I'd really be enjoying this season. I could even stand the pointless Claire among the Heathers subplot. I realize that the black goo power is most likely going to play into the virus storyline and w/o Hiro back in time acting a fool, we'd not have Kensei (whom I am enjoying for the most part). But those two plots are just huge black holes of suck for me, at least.
It's crazy because I love Masi Oka and I love the Kensei dude (didn't watch Alias so I have no idea who he is). I also love Zachary Quinto and the Sylar character and while I find the woman playing Maya tiresome, the man playing Alejandro is sooo pretty (And that's normally just about enough for me. I'm easy that way.) It's just that these two stories drag on and on and on. Oh, well. I'm excited about tonight. Maybe now that we're getting into the big story arc, everything will pick up.
The crazy thing for me is that we are (apparently) more than halfway through this arc. I cannot believe the show is moving so slowly but I think that when you watch it all the cutting between storylines gives it the illusion of more action which disappears when you start thinking about what actually happens in each episode.
