And if Nana Dawson's house is evidence of her 'poverty'...well, damn, I'll take it.
I would agree. I mean, the kids' big issue was not having $65 for WWE on pay per view? Not exactly desperate times.
'Underneath'
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the show and ancillary materials such as web comics! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. Chuffa, Chuffa!

True, but Monica gave up on (college? don't remember) to stay home and work two shifts at the local burger joint. That seems like poor to me.
flea - you are right about the photoshopping. The picture looked bad even on TV. I couldn't tell if it was an actor availability issue or intentional. I guess we will find out. (Although Nathan's comment about his mom hugging Kaito a bit too long made me think that those two were likely really standing next to each other.)
I thought the picture on the web was photoshopped because they couldn't get a clean screen cap of the whole thing - got bits and pieces from different ones and then assembled them to be as clear as possible.
And Syler squicks me too.
WTF is this week's comic about?
chuffa chuffa
All I could think is that it was the story as remembered now w/o the knowledge that we have of what actually happened.
When did Hiro become... wtf is he?
I mean, I appreciate that things are happening while we're in Mexico with the Wonder Twins and whatever but... Maybe I need to read more japanese comix.
I don't know - some sort of mythical or legendary animal sidekick.
Laga and sumi are confusing me. Hiro is now an animal sidekick in the comics?
Yes. In the most recent comic. Which is, I think, from the POV of people who know the legendary Kensei stories but not the truth the way we do.
It's just a manga interpretation of the story. Even says so up front. And I, for one, think it's the funniest of the comics so far. Loved, loved, loved it.
Chuffa, chuffa!
