You know, some actors really come into their own later in life, or they just have more affinity for parent/grandparent roles. Witness Andi Macdowell or Candace Bergen.
Heroes 1: We Could Be Heroes
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the show and ancillary materials such as web comics! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. Chuffa, Chuffa!
Hee!!! That panel recap is great and, yes, spoiler-free.
We need to start doing the "My father's research" drinking game. Interesting that, if I read between the lines, Mohinder's character was actually supposed to be Chandra Suresh himself, basically. Television is crazy stuff.
I just read the comic. I think I agree with whoever said that Hana's meant to be mostly an Internet character who won't play a large role in the show itself. I think she's mostly a conduit for extra information. I wonder what we'll learn in this new series.

\'Twas I!
You DO seem to have a Hana obsession.
Jewish, smart, strong, hottt... What\'s not to like?
Nothing, man. Nothing!
Well, her use of Netspeak.
I've been watching from the beginning online, too, since I was even later than Ash (started with "Run!" after mainlining all the TWOP recaps).
Re: HRG's memory-wipe commands:
He tells the Haitian to "go deep" with Matt, who apparently only loses his abduction and recall of his telepathy before it.
He says "hollow him out" (but not "go deep") with the quarterback, who is gifted with complete amnesia.
(and speaking of the QB, Claire completely rocks for driving him into a wall. You go, girl!!)
(FWIW, "Company Man" completely broke me, shooting Mr. Bennet to the top of my favourites from his previous jockeying for number 2 or 3. It never occurred to me he was asking for an extreme memory wipe on the bridge; I just figured he wanted to lose enough to give him plausible deniability about Claire's disappearance.)
extreme memory wipe on the bridge
Man is my brain in need of this day off. When you said that, I thought, "When was HRG on a spaceship?"
I think Mr Linderman needs a wife. I'm voting on Mary Steenbergen.
