I've tried both, and they're equally annoying.
Unfortunately, what I want (an RSS feed I can subscribe to with plain graphics) isn't likely to happen with NBC since they're all about forcing people to go to their site to get content. Which is a perfectly legitimate point of view for them to have, it just means I'm never going to read the comic online.
I think that the comic comes out in print on the 24th.

Some folks have been making the comics available as cbr and/or cbz files, which can be read using something like CDisplay. Far better than the pdfs, because you don't get that stupid change in page size between the ad and the rest of the pages.
The later one got rid of the size change in the PDFs. I suspect it was a bug rather than intentional.
Er, the gaming page is kind of spoilery. It's a chat between Hana and Micah, and they talk about something we don't know about yet.
