Last night, I may have informed my television, "That grammar joke doesn't work in Japanese!"

(Did they ever explain how Jessica died? If they did I don't remember.)

I thought the father beat her to death. I mean, they never really said that's what happened, but I just assumed from that flashback episode where she smacked him around.

I wonder if in the Heroes-verse both kids always get powers if they're twins. It would kinda suck to be the "normal" twin with the superpowered sister or brother. I wonder if all the kids of superpowered parents also have powers. Can it skip a generation? I mean, both the Petrelli boys have powers, but what if Nikki and DL (assuming he's still alive) have another child? Would that child automatically get powers because both his parents have powers?

Art Crawl!!!

First line of TWOP's Heroes recaplet:

Peter spends the whole episode shirtless, so I really have no idea what went on in scenes that didn't involve him. Do you?

Hee.

both the Petrelli boys have powers

Do we have any hard proof that either of the Petrelli parents have/had powers? Seems entirely possible to me that they could have been involved with the Golden Age heroes and be without powers...

Star Trek-Heroes connections: they've now had folks from TOS & Enterprise -- has anyone noticed any cast members from TNG or Voyager or DSN?

I thought we had proof that at least Papa Petrelli had powers. But I could be totally making that up and I am lazy and don't want to go back now. I feel like around the time that we learned that he (supposedly) committed suicide, we also learned that he had a power. I don't think they said what it was, though. And I've just been assuming that Ma Petrelli has powers. She definitely was able to sense that Matt was reading her thoughts and I don't believe that your average Joe Schmo on the streets is able to do that. I mean, the cops in that training exercise didn't know that Matt was reading their minds to cheat on his NYPD detectives test. HRG knew that Matt was reading his mind, but that's because HRG already knew Matt and what his power was from when he captured him the first time. Ma Petrelli didn't know Matt (I don't think) so she wouldn't have been on guard for a mind reader. What I'm sayin' is, I'm fairly certain Ma Petrelli's got something cooking other than being awesomely evil.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

While I agree that Angela Petrelli probably has a power, that's not evidence. Angela sensed that because she knows people do have powers, and when Matt pointedly and unexpectedly started talking about REVENGE two seconds after she was thinking about revenge, she put two and two together very quickly.

Although I think there was an early theory that her power was related to being able to identify/find people with powers, though the latter part fell to Molly anyway.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

Reason #n to love this show: it doesn't make you choose between which you want to see more, shirtless Peter or badass Peter. Yowza.

(Reason #n+1: how awesome is HRG?!)
