I don't know why but their stuff always makes me get a little emotional and then feel a little uncool about it.
Journey's fannish renaissance started for me with Ryan Atwood and The O.C., and SPN made it solid. Bring on the mullet rock!

I had hoped that that reaction was limited mostly to TwoP but I've noticed it on LJ and other boards as well. I really don't understand it.

A DJ on Irish radio has had a campaign for the last few months to get that to number one here. So I hear it at least twice a day. I've gone through liking it, to being annoyed by it, right back around to thinking it's great.

She's young, pretty, and talented. That makes her a lightning rod for hostility on the internet. I find it telling that I don't find a lot of "Oh, that bitch! I HATE her!" comments about older actresses whose looks don't factor into their fame much.
