A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Good article in yesterday's Boston Globe about how Heroes may be overextending itself too soon: [link]

Spoilery for some casting news.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I share his concerns about the upcoming season, and I'm talking as someone who likes the sprawling aspect of the show. Of course, they can kill off more people from the original cast to make room for the new ones. I just hope that they could bounce back from the finale, which I thought was really subpar. (Except for the coda set in feudal Japan, which I loved for the implication its has on the universe. We'll have to wait and see how they execute the concept.)

Heroes season 2 promo.

You know, they could have stories that just drop some of the characters out w/o killing them and pick them back up in the next season - theoretically.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Was that a promo basically saying "these actor we're showing you right now? You might not actually see them in season 2"?

Well, I thought it was pretty vague. No new faces, only some of the old faces.

Oh, another less vague one with some new folks - so don't watch if you don't want to know or in other words Sark!!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jon, thanks for the link upthread to the Boston Globe article. I can't say I disagree with any major points. I was fully on the "Heroes" bandwagon until that season finale - which was so weak that I feared for the plans of Season 2.

I don't know what to make of the casting news, but I hope they don't alienate their audience like "Lost" seemed to in Season 2. And goodness they can't go off the rails like GA. I will just cry.

I still am excited about Season 2, but I'm feeling cautious as well.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
