See, I found the animated version easier to follow. Maybe it's just because I don't normally read comics, but I kept getting lost on which pane (frame?) was supposed to come next in this chapter, especially the chase scene across the roof and when the construction worker fell onto the hood of the car. I didn't get that sequence at all until I watched the animated version. Anyway, I liked it 'cause it had some fun sound effects! Liking this story better than the Candace back story as well.
Heroes 1: We Could Be Heroes
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the show and ancillary materials such as web comics! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. Chuffa, Chuffa!
I liked the fun sound effects too! But the scene you describe in whitefont was actually the most confusing part for me in the animated version.
I think I missed a week because water vampire ??? When was that established?
Last two comics.
I just didn't make the connection of how the deaths happened.
I'm wondering why they picked this picture for the Easter Egg.
Meanwhile, since I've had to do basically all my fun computing at home, and my browser or something doesn't like the pdfs, I haven't seen the on-line comics in months...sigh.
Sheryl, did you see sumi's link in Other Media? [link]
They're releasing the online comic in print come fall.
Apparently, they are going to have Heroes cast members introducing the repeats that start on Monday.
Are they re-running all the episodes, do you know?
