What is even happening?

Should we request that the slug on the main page change from:

Discussion of Heroes can be found here.
to

Discussion of Heroes, and the associated online comic can be found here.

That way people aren't walking in, without any warning.

The thread header already looks good:

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think, if we are all in agreement (and we seem to be), we should make the policy explicit in the slug. Cindy's version looks good to me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think, if we put it in the slug, it should just be "online materials." Because the online game thing with Hana's blog and MySpace and the Primatech site has included stuff not in the comics, I think.

"official online material" to distinguish from actual spoilers that might be posted somewhere?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

How about, "Discussion of Heroes (the TV show and official online materials) can be found here"?

There's no rush, right? How about we wait a couple of days to make sure everyone has had a chance to chime in?

Sounds good, Jon. Both the slug and the no rush.

What is even happening?

Good ideas on both, Jon.

Chiming in that I'd like the comics talk to be in blackfont, too. And all the the other official online stuff. I think I've only read one so far because they're kind of a pain, so I like reading details here.

Also, shiny thread!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

comic blackfont is good for me, most definitely, since I tried reading the comics, was a total luddite about it, and am rather burnt out from Lost on trolling the internetz for more story.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My issues weren't so much computer difficulties as loathing the artwork. Since we know what these characters are supposed to look like—what with there being actual real-life actors and all—I think they would have been better served to get an artist like Bryan Hitch or Gene Ha who can portray realistic likenesses. Hell, even Greg Land and his opaque projector would be preferable.
