I attribute a lot of his hotness in that scene to the Matrix-y, empire waisted coat thingy he wore
Beej, that's exactly what my daughter said. If he was wearing something else it might not have pinged her but it was the car flip/evil/coat combination that pushed it over for her. Until then she thought he was creepy and decidedly not hotttt.
There was a Kate Winslet version of P&P?
It was Keira Knightly. Kate Winslet was in Sense and Sensability.
Ooops. Right-e-o about the S&S, P&P mixup. Thanks for the assist.
But yeah, the turned up collar, the high waist, the dark lines.
Would not have had the same effect if he'd been wearing the 'members only' looking jacket he'd had on earlier. And where does he get those costume changes from? His mother's closet? Villianstrom's Evil-doer's department store?
fourth floor, hand to hand weaponry, fifth floor, sexay sinister threads
Dammit, the ficlet isn't gelling.
Anyway here's my speculation: It's not that
Sylar *or* Peter is the bomb -- they start fighting, then they *both* start losing control of Ted's powers. Peter grabs Sylar and goes up, up, and away until BOOM.
On the ground,
Molly can tell that Peter's reconstituted, but he's still flying off into space.
The choice Nathan has to make is
to keep quiet and let Peter become a permanent satellite, or go rescue him and expose his powers.
Hm. Well, maybe. If Nathan
grabs a fireman's respirator before he takes off
I'll know Kring is reading my mind.
ETA: No spoilers past the promo for the finale.
You don't need to whitefont speculation.
Ah, but what if she's
right?!
I know, but I've seen people get twitchy over too-specific speculation too--not sure if it was here or someplace else. I figured better safe than offensive. The real question is, am I
right?
Oh, and I'm a guy.
