Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm in denial, and chose to believe that you could live through a gunshot wound (DL) but not an internal brain smoosh (Linderman).

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The only cliche that irritated me was the "learn to be a swordsman in a few hours through a dramatic montage."

Given Hiro's powers, maybe more than a few hours passed on their side of the door? I like the idea of him sneaking in months of training time while Ando waits thirty minutes in the storefront.

Of course, I also like the idea of Sylar having everyone at his mercy in the finale and then George Takei popping up out of nowhere and lopping the top of his head off.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It would have been polite of him to at least stick his head out the door and tell Ando they might be a while, so Ando didn't give up and go off on his own like that.

What is even happening?

Oh! Best fanwank, ever! I'm making it canon.

Remember how Joss said if he wanted to engage the audience, all he had to do was put Willow in jeopardy? That goes triple for me, for Hiro. And in fact, even putting Ando in jeopardy gets me all in a tizzy, because I know how much he means to Hiro.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yes! Nathan's all "I cannot stop the bomb. Millions will die!" and I'm all "eh, whatever, CAN'T YOU SEE HOW SAD YOU'RE MAKING HIRO? He BELIEVED in you, man!"

Yes, Katie. NATHAN, CLEARLY YOU ARE WRONG IF HIRO IS CALLING YOU A VILLAIN.

Right there with you. Also, the villain thing called back to the cute convo they had with the word "villain" and the pronunciation issues, and, and... just made me sadder.

So true!

I was underwhelmed by most of this ep, honestly, but a Nathan & Hiro scene always makes things better.

(I'm guessing that it will play better as the first half of whatever happens next week -- I wonder why NBC didn't make the finale two hours?)

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I figured out where I'd seen the Dragon story (thank you Heroes Wiki!). It's on the Yamagato Fellowship website. [link]

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aw.

I like the latest comic. Hana actually looks like Hana. Cindy, the basic gist of it is that Bennet asks Hana to take down the satellite responsible for the Isotope Tracking System (the one that tracks the isotopes they get injected with when they're captured and released) while they take down the Walker Tracking System.
