Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I baked some salmon in the oven with a merlot jelly and mustard sauce and I had mashed cauliflower. then I had my version of a chocolate shake.

hamstrings are no longer complaining., shoulders are tired, hands and forearms are attempting to scream ( but they have no mouth).

I am not really surprised that I hurt, but I am surprised that things hurt as much as they do...

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Hee, Libkitty. I swept the bathroom, and am calling it done.

Now, I'm lying on the hide-a-bed (my apartment is also cold, but I have wood-burning stove! which is in the living room.) watching The Court Jester.

My lungs are still trying to escape.

I have no advice on the creation of pie when a pile of blankets is so appealing

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want a fire.

I'm trying to convince myself that if I bake, the apartment will not only get warmer, it will smell delish. Which is true--but is it enough?

Meanwhile, I think I hate my router.

Baking usually makes me feel warmer.

I am watching Thursday's Supernatural. I keep pausing because I find it disturbing.

Compassionately intolerant

Did lots of errands today, including hitting the library...audiobooks rule!...getting fit for a new pair of running shoes..the reason for which will be apparent in a sec and carousing around REI. There was a bookstore, a fabric store and some Chinese food wedged in there too, but I digress.

This is sort of cross-posty from Tech.

I need advice on pedometers. I have committed to walking the Marine Corps Marathon for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and I am starting my training nowish.

Since my birthday is coming up, I've been offered a pedo-gift but I'm having trouble choosing the best option. The Nike/iPod synergy seemed a good choice until we came home and read the reviews.

It doesn't have to be fancy, but I'd like a clock, distance and pace.

Anyone have experience with good ones?

I am watching Thursday's Supernatural. I keep pausing because I find it disturbing.

And, weirdly, I can't remember whether I watched Thursday's Supernatural, and I find that disturbing. I think I thought it wasn't new? Or I'm completely blanking.

ETA: And I know nothing useful about pedometers.

And I seem to be caught up on SPN. So.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm so lame. I actually went out tonight, but I'm SO HAPPY to be home already!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It was Croatoan repeating. We're in wanktime hiatus for a while.
