"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Have the Dog People asserted themselves yet?

I can't even get into that aspect of the whole thing, it's so crazy. And people I otherwise like are acting a little...odd.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Is this the whole "how dare people alter power dynamics for their AUs in ways I don't approve of?!?" rant , or is there a newer SGA kerfluffle that I'm unaware of?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I opened my mail to find about $5K of medical bills. Guess no one knows I'm still insured. At least that insanity is over--health coverage at the new job started the day I started.

I do a pretty decent job staying on top of my bills. That makes it bite even more when companies that are supposed to do the same for me do not. The ER is mighty pissed they don't have their money, and I don't blame them. I will have to wake up early Monday morning and make an assload of calls before work.

Bought new shoes. Because I broke another pair. Which can be fixed, but I need to pad out my rotation. So these (top left pair) for work, and almost these (white on black, and sadly no jewel encrusted skull) so I don't have to wear my work shoes so much when I'm not working.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ya know how you never know a good thing til you've had it, and then once you've had it, you want it ALL THE TIME?

Yah.

I should have never gone to Sprinkles yesterday. I want a black and white cupcake more than anything in the world right now.

The SGA thing has been going on for several days and branched into a few unexpected avenues.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have yet to do jack shit today. Oops. I think I can still manage to shower and go to Target.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's my last day here. So technically, I can't get fired for smoking at my desk today, right??

What are they going to do, fire you?

.... I don't know why, but I can never get enough of saying that sentence.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I was doing good. I got up early and made the week's menu plan, checked the online supermarket for deals, made the shopping list. Worked up a good recorded version of my voice student's new piece. Did the dishes. Cooked a nice brunch meal.

Went in and taught. The SO'll be in all day, but I only had morning lessons, so the plan was for me to take the bus home by way of the supermarket. But his middle lesson cancelled, so he dropped me off home on his way to the worship team practice he's coaching. Which meant that I was home earlier, which is nice.

But now I'm home, and eating my southwestern egg bake, and I have no more interest in going out and doing the shopping. I'm perfectly happy right now, thankyewverymuch. I used up all my motivation and drive before ten this morning.

Hee. And I can't get enough of hearing it, so you and me? Good match!
