Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What are they going to do, fire you?

.... I don't know why, but I can never get enough of saying that sentence.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I was doing good. I got up early and made the week's menu plan, checked the online supermarket for deals, made the shopping list. Worked up a good recorded version of my voice student's new piece. Did the dishes. Cooked a nice brunch meal.

Went in and taught. The SO'll be in all day, but I only had morning lessons, so the plan was for me to take the bus home by way of the supermarket. But his middle lesson cancelled, so he dropped me off home on his way to the worship team practice he's coaching. Which meant that I was home earlier, which is nice.

But now I'm home, and eating my southwestern egg bake, and I have no more interest in going out and doing the shopping. I'm perfectly happy right now, thankyewverymuch. I used up all my motivation and drive before ten this morning.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I don't know why, but I can never get enough of saying that sentence.

Hee. And I can't get enough of hearing it, so you and me? Good match!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

DH has a terrible cold and going back to work a week early has kicked my ass, so we have cancelled our evening plans and are going to lie around like slugs. No movies for us.

AWESOME. Edit: Not to Robin, to Aimee! Because I was not being sarcastic. Were I being sarcastic, it would have applied to poor Robin and DH.

Thanks for the clarification, because otherwise I would totally have thought you were being sarcastic about my recovery from MAJOR SURGERY. Because that's so you.

Pbbbbt.

I am wicked early for my flight. The A trains aren't running, so I splurged on a cab. Now I've got 2 hours to kill.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

My mail program is trying to make me think I'm crazy. I emailed someone about ten minutes ago, and yet my message isn't showing up in my sent OR my trash folder, but an email I sent right after the first one is there. WTF?

ETA: I quit mail and restarted, and now the email is in the sent folder. Weird.
