I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have flesh-toned fishnets, I've worn flesh-toned fishnets, but really, I can't get past the transparent ho-ness of her dress. There is no hose that would go with that.

Though I have no idea what flesh-toned fishnets look like on me, since that's not the tone of my flesh and I don't have a full mirror.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

They don't match her flesh that well, either.

Exactly!!!

Yay! I can go home in just a few minutes!!! I had a terrible thing happen earlier when my married co-workers were leaving early because they are going away for the weekend. They said goodbye and they walked out the door at about 4. Not a minute later they walked back in because the wife had forgotten to do her timesheet.

For a second I had this AWFUL feeling that I blacked out and had missed the weekend completely and they were coming into work on Monday! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Like, "there was a flash of light and next thing I knew it was Monday morning."

Well, maybe she was trying to match them to her foundation instead. Better fit.

Got a call from krav. Hey, can I sub the level 1 at 9:30?

Grr. Oh, and no. But don't call if you're not the call.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Went to see the Austin Lounge Lizards last night. Fun show, with a good mix of old favs and new songs.(Including a Les Barker poem set to a waltz tune.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I have seen the flesh-colored fishnets look really hot. Aguilera needs to learn that trick. Also, she needs to step away from the self-tanner. Oompa loompa doopity doo!

Fred Pete, much ~ma for Teddy. We went through this very same thing with our old-man cat, Fluffy. Medication and special food bought him an extra 3 years. He was in pretty late stages of kidney damage when we caught it (he was a stray that the neighbors had been leaving food out for - he had many health issues when the kids finally wore the DH down to take him in) but he had really good quality of life until the very end.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

People need to post, so I have something to do other than my time sheets.

What is everyone doing this weekend?

Tonight I am cleaning, tomorrow is haircut and color, then more cleaning, and then Scola gets here, and the rest of the weekend will be sent in Squeeville.

I'm seeing Shooter sometime. Other than that and laundry, I have no real plans.
