I got stupid. The money was too good.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The word "slumber" always makes me think of "Lift Thine Eyes" from Elijah, which is actually a nice going-to-sleep song. If you like that kind of thing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've called everyone I can call...wait...I haven't!

You didn't call me!

I can't decide if I want to clean, or drink wine, or clean and drink wine tonight.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Sure they do, if you stay awake.

Who knows how many baby ducks I've stranded!?! Thanks, brenda! Now I'll never get to sleep! (Except for this handy gin and tonic. How handy!)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Tons of ~ma to Kat, Lori, Noah, and Grace. Welcome to the world, Noah and Grace!

Nutty and Theo, so sorry to hear about the layoffs. Best of luck finding new jobs to both of you.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Also, thanks Zenkitty. I've had too many gin and tonics to be polite apparently.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

God, I'm miss CrankPanties tonight.

Sorry to hear about the double Buffista whammy, Nutty and Theo. May your time of underemployment be put to the best use ever.

I am ravenous and haven't slept, and tried to ditch my first class and cannot, without a much worse migraine (which makes my head hurt worse, but not enough). Unless endorphins get me, I am skipping the second.

No time to eat healthily either. Ah, well. The students will have to pay.

Nutty, I'm sorry you got whammied too. I hope you find something much better too.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Gah, Theo and Nutty. I am so sorry.

March sucks for the jobs.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Much job~ma to both Nutty and Theodosia!! That really sucks.

Welcome to the world, Noah and Grace! May you put on lots of weight and get all healthy as soon as possible. Congrats to Kat and lori!!

Congrats to SA, too! I hope I hear from my graduate school relatively soon with similar news.

I'm finishing my laundry (first two loads) right now. I went to Walmart after work and spent $55 on various sundries, including a beach towel (only having one isn't a good idea when you're swimming three times a week) and other stuff, including cereal for breakfast until next Tuesday. Of course, I ended up eating Special K for dinner, too.

I think I'm going to have to start bringing in a book to read while I'm on the treadmill--now that I'm on it for longer than 30 minutes, I'm getting bored halfway through my workout. I don't have an mp3 player yet (first, I have to get a computer that will let me load iTunes), so I can't listen to music to distract myself.
