I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Good luck, ita!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm just repeating what I've read somewhere, but the theory is, you can really only "make up for" the past 24 or so hours of your sleep/wake cycle. I doubt it applies universally, since there are so many metabolic factors and individual variations.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Good luck ita!

I woke up a little before 7:00, and was on my way back to sleep before I realized a) my alarm clock had in fact woken me up, and b) that meant I had to go shoot the cat.

mornings are hard.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just got a little YouTube video of my friends' kid. What cracks me up is how messy their house is! No messier than mine, for sure, but that's why I don't randomly invite people in -- so I can pretend that cleaned-for-company is the usual state.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I want to a Vietnamese wedding last night, twas awesome! The bride was one of my fellow secretaries, Tram, who is always in jeans and a pony tail and terribly shy but beloved by all. Just easy with a laugh and quick to help and hug, you know? Adore her. Anyhow, the reception had 500 people. It started with this thing where as soon as you walked in the door you had a photo taken with the bride and groom in their traditional wedding clothes, all silk and hand-stitched and glamorous. Then we were seated, and food started to be delivered to the table...and never stopped.

I didn't eat a lot because most of the food was staring back at me. But the main course was lobster, and I'm used to lobsters staring back at me, so I had some. There was very expensive cognac set at each table as well.

The bride changed twice, because it's customary for the bride to change outfits to show status. So she changed into a traditional white gown with a huge train, and then a simple evening dress in matching color of the bridesmaids gowns, which were this awesome apple green.

I was seated next to a totally hot guy from morocco, who just had a screenplay optioned. He did five years of interviews with elderly folk in Morocco, talking about the Holocaust and such sort of history before it's gone. We talked about writing a lot.

Then two little girls came to each table and gave us our photos with the bride and groom, and dude, I AM FAT.

So that's what I did last night.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I moved furniture and mopped my floors.

Definitely not as much fun as the wedding Allyson went to.
