ita, if you don't pass tomorrow, can you retake?
Natter Five-O: Book 'Em, Danno.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Quite probably.
Don't wanna.
I have work to do. my remote desktop will not connect. I wish this wasn't a deadline situation, because I am in the midset to get a bunch of house stuff done. Stoopid computers.
Go use ita's computer! Everyone else is!
Seriously, sorry your day is being thwarted by computers.
Everytime I start to be productive one of the cats intervenes with cute and I end up cuddling them and doing nothing. Guess I should head out.
Don't wanna.Of course you don't. I'm sorry.
Everywhere the stud finder says there should be a stud, I can't find one when I drill in.
I have found most stud finders to be semi-reliable at best.
I am currently feeling awesome after watching last night's What Not To Wear with a big girl like me -- I think I do more or less what they said to. I could definitely try to layer more, but I do know the right shapes. (And by "big girl like me," I mean tall and kind of medium sized -- not fat, not skinny.)
I am also feeling awesome about the olive bread I made.
Jessica, it's probably too late, but what I've done when the studs turn out to be unconventionally spaced, or in the case of my circa-1900 house non-existent because they used horsehair plaster (made with real horsehair!), was use some 1X2s that I nailed along the wall so there were many anchor points that I knew to be deep enough. Then I attached the fancy-schmancy modern shelves to that and because the 1x3s are covered by the shelving, no one knows any better AND I haven't had any shelves falling off the walls... yet.
as soon as I posted my computer woes, I connected. All that means is that I am now testing things and finding OH SO MUCH that is wrong. bother.
I hate sending a status report saying, it was supposed to be complete, but here are all the known remaining problems.
