I'm wondering - are there any "principled" conservative blogs? I.e. blogs that actually looks at facts instead of parroting whatever talking points are coming out of the Administration?
I protest the idea that there's something about political conservatism that makes commentators hacky or unprincipled, but I read the Volokh Conspiracy, which is more about law than politics; Andrew Sullivan is also quite independent from the adminstration.
Congrats, Allyson! WOO to the HOOO!!!
No, I don't have IM at work, and I'm at the dentist right now. I'll text you as soon as I'm finished here.
Thanks!
Commute and benefits are comparable. Plus, it's my boss who just retired to run his wife's company (she's been wanting to try something new) so I already know what I'm getting into. So it's nice all around that he liked my work enough to offer me the job before anyone else.
And they're all really supportive of the book and writing.
I expect like any other job, it will make me insane sometimes, but it will be compensated with 28% more insanity buffers.

I don't believe that, and I didn't mean to imply it. I just don't know of any principled ones. Most conservative blogs I've seen seem quite willing to continue to further Administration talking points that have been demonstrated to be false. Maybe I'm only reading the bad ones because outraged liberal blogs link to them.
Hah! Vindiciation for messy desks

Unsurprisingly, the head of the national organizers association disputes the claims hotly.
I just realized that I have not been at a company for more than 2.5 years. EVER!

I have to say, that's totally true IME. My current job pays way more than I've ever made before, and it still makes me insane (as you all know!), but at least I'm not also angry about my paycheck.
