Damnit, I just dropped my cat. Seems like a nonevent, except he is 14+ and diabetic and just generally a klutz. He's ok, but I feel like crap. Even if it was his fault for squirming off my lap. Something about a cat landing not on his feet, but on his side. With a thump. Rrrrg.
I go to bed.
Aww. I miss Steve Sanders.
It was FNL for me followed by The Next Pussycat Doll and then torturing myself with Lost.
Actually I'm not sure which of those last two should have been in the embarassment font.
-t, I'm watching. I like Ian, Joey Fatone, and Laila Ali.
sara, please don't beat yourself up. If he was mad at you, you'd know it. The squirmy little buggers can't help themselves. (So says the woman who tripped at the top of the steps and dropped the cat all the way down said steps. She was headbutting me 2 minutes later.)
It was FNL for me
I just finished watching it. OMG, I didn't think it was possible to love this show any more than I already did. I heart those boys. Coach and Tami are my OTP. Best line of the night:
"That is so brokeback."
Bwah!
Hee! I liked
"The wheelchair always trumps."
Also
so good seeing Street coach Jason. Coach Taylor is clearly a good coach, but Jason has been on the line much more recently.
Awesome! Also, also
Coach understanding that his daughter needs to know that her feelings are being taken into consideration. That "You are 15 and will not determine the future of this family, but you are 15 and deserve the respect to be considered." The "We're going to move again aren't we." Made me tear up. It wasn't until Dad went back to HS ball that he spent more than 4 years anywhere.
FNL: OMG so much for the win right now.
I know! It felt like I was squeeing over something every 2 minutes. Street
has a gift for breaking it down
into
manageable pieces.
I like this new development. Tyra broke me into itty bitty pieces. She
wants so badly to be part of a normal family. She was even willing to try Eric's chili.
His
"award-winning chili!" I love that man.
Ooh, and Tami
with the "you're going to the dance and you will make me happy even if it kills you" talk. It's no small feat to shame both husband and daughter in one fell swoop.
Lyla and Buddy
can bite me. Buddy's a pig, and I lost the last ounce of sympathy for Lyla
tonight. She's a spoiled brat.
Riggins! Up until
the shot-down attempt at kissage, I was convinced that even he wouldn't go there.
He genuinely seems to like
Beau, and I don't want to think he's using him to get close to Mama.
Hmm, maybe I'm just hormonal tonight, but I was sighing like a fangurl an awful lot.
I actually
feel really sorry for Lyla. Buddy OTOH as a jackass. I don't know that scene at the Garrity's front door where she sees her dad trying, her mom accusing her of taking sides, then her mom dragging out all the past infidelity. I would probably lose my shit too. And she's totally right that just because she slept with his best friend, if he forgave her, to the point that he asked her to marry him, he's not guilt free if he cheats on her.
But then, I love them all!
'Cept Buddy.
See, Lyla lost me
when she started crashing into all of the cars on Daddy's lot, and then, for the cherry on top, drives a car right through the damned window.
Otherwise, I'm in total agreement with her actions and opinions up to that point.
I need to know that we have a second season of this show RIGHT NOW.
Make sure you do.
You say that like I might chicken out.
Look! --> MONKEYS!
