Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The sleet is scary! (And I typed that as "sleep" twice, which tells you where my head is at.)

I am SO ALL SET with this week! Stupid three-more-hours!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And I am safely home! I should have gone to the post office and supermarket, but hell with that.

Love the Valhalla Kitties!

Now tagless for your comfort.

My flight to NYC has been cancelled. What the fuck do I do now?

Amy - Mar 16, 2007 8:17:53 am PDT #7444 of 10001
Because books.

Oh, fuck, Cash. Was it JetBlue?

I ask because I just saw in local news that they cancelled a bunch of flights out of Syracuse into JFK, due to possible weather.

The weather is really bad right now, but they were cancelling flights into (and out of?) JFK this morning, just in case. But seriously, it's sleetpocalypse outside my office right now -- wicked windy and yuck.

Yup. Fucking hell. I can't get through on the phone. I'm just going to have to get ready and go to the airport and see what they can do for me. I'm pretty much fucked.

What is even happening?

Oh, Cashmere. That sucks.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yeah, I don't think anyone's flying into NYC right now. (My office didn't even get our morning Fedex and UPS deliveries.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just got into JFK at about 7 this morning. After a 12-hour flight from Tel Aviv. Snowing here. Actually, it was also snowing in Israel. But not in Tel Aviv. (Nilly was saying that it was unfair that I was in Israel a week and got to see Israeli snow, and she's lived there her entire life and has never seen it.)

My flight's not until 6:50 but if nothing's flying in, there's no getting around it. I'm probably just going to have to cancel my trip. This just sucks.
