Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"and call it a dog"?? As opposed to what? Suddenly it's a lemur?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Here's the actual quote, from an AKC spokeswoman:

It will not be registering Poovanese or Cavoodles any time soon. “What would our registration stand for then?” a spokeswoman told me. “Anyone could make up a dog and say, ‘This is a dog!’ ”

Also, since I suck and forgot too say, poor baby, and poor friend-of-Nora.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

“Anyone could make up a dog and say, ‘This is a dog!’ ”

Soon everyone would be making up dogs! It'd be anarchy!

I'm glad the poor puppy had a good home while he was alive.

Just got off the phone with my brother. I'm sure y'all have heard this before, but I love the conversations we have. Defining hope, nihilism, biological imperitives, logic. Adding 70 horsepower to his car, racing at 170 mph, Talledega races next weekend. He's SO interesting. And when I'm down on myself, he champions me, which makes no sense, but he loves me. I'm so lucky.

Nails done.

Sad news from a friend, but she's doing ok (early miscarrige.) She's already looking to the future in the positive. She laughed at my oh fuck response, so I guess that's good.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Aimee, sometimes that image of you giving the accidental bird is all that gets me through the day, baby. I love that story.

Oh yes. So very much this.

Oh Nora, the poor puppy story is so sad.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's terrible about the puppy.

Sara, is he adding horsepower to his normal driving car? I've been on the receiving end of a number of those "conversations" since my partner in crime bought a new car, that evidently needs hella tweaking.

Dude. Beer goggles not only exist, but you can even calculate their effect.

Dammit, and now that damn Duchovny commercial with the shelter dogs comes on and makes me cry.
