On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Always Anti-fascist!

Hey, all. Am one week closer to understanding the HTML thing. Have started writing for blogs so it's gotten important. I still need more of an offline life, but learning new stuff is cool.

Always Anti-fascist!

So sad about the pup, Nora.

Our wings are not tired.

That is heartbreaking. I'm sorry their time together was so very short.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

pokes head into thread

Uh, hi guys. You know, I just returned Idiocracy to Netflix. I liked it, but not as much as I liked Office Space.

Oh, Nora, puppy death is always sad. Man.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Holli!

Nora, you came in her to post a dying puppy story? Do you think that showed discretion? Are you trying to personally destroy all happiness and/or the weekend?

Always Anti-fascist!

Good to know, Holli. Although Office Space has grown on me over the years.

I just read a long article about designer dogs and puppy mills and how purebreds are like ticking genetic timebombs, too, so I am sort of concerned about the fate of doggykind right now.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh Nora, I am sorry about their dog.

My parent's have had two of their Goldens that have ended up with really aggressive tumors. And Max was fairly young. I wonder if it is something the breed is prone to or just coincidence.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aw, that's so sad. Goldens are such sweet dogs.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, wasn't that awful, Hil?

Except for that one line from that breeder woman who was concerned that if something wasn't done "anyone could breed any two kinds together and call it a dog."
