Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

OMG, why am I watching Frontline on e.european sex-trade? Pissing me off six ways from sunday. Not the best bedtime watching.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Which is weird, but then the whole concept of driving 2 hours to work is too weird (though plenty in the DC-Balt area do it.) In my mind, you live where you work, you go distance for entertainment. It's kind of confusing.

I get it. I'd love to live where I work, but we couldn't afford to buy anything closer in. Besides, me being closer means he's further away. I lived in DC for 10 years, and then I moved to Rockville. After we got married, we were looking to buy and Frederick fit the bill.

I'm very lucky I can work flex hours: 10-6:30. I miss rush hour traffic, and I stay out of jail. Win-win proposition in my book.

Smart decision on DH's part, Cash. Some schools in this area have already made the decision to close tomorrow.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Wait, y'all are in RedFredneck? One of my good friends lives there. Next time I make it out, we'll have to hook up?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Was there anything important on the gross House, or can I skip it?

brenda, yep, we're in Fredneck (near Fort Detrick), and we should absolutely hook up the next time you're out.

Oh, I totally get it, in this market. B'more is heavily marketing to commuters, but unless you are near a train line (which is oh so pricey, near to DC rates) the options of 95 and 295 are depressing, in city.

It's just such an odd concept, coming from a place of less than 100K inhabitants in the county (that's bigger than Md.)

I suspect that (being in Chicago and not DC or wherever) I won't have an excuse not to go in tomorrow. But man, it's crazy out there.

Man, I know! The winter storm warning is in effect until 9am tomorrow, and the snow has piled up something fierce. I wish I could justify a snow day. I'll probably just end up settling for being late, since I imagine it's going to take me an insane amount of time to get to work tomorrow.

That was such a cool House! Are they setting up Cuddy/House? Just when House and Wilson are getting back together? And Chase has a brain! Though he better kick Cameron to the curb--though he's cute when he has a wicken grin.

Were there previews?

Just make sure you're going to be home in time for FNL. I'm still wibbling from last week.
