Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

I think Colbert just showed a picture of Angel.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So I just got a free TIVO series 2 and then I just see someone else giving one away, this one with a lifetime subscription. why would people be doing this? Is there no value to them even if they are still functional?

and can anyone verify that I can use the TIVO to pause live tv and even record things without a subscription?

Yes, msbelle--you can use it to pause live tv, and it will record whatever it's showing at the time in a 30-minute buffer. If you choose to record it, it will record the whole thing from the point at which you start recording.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat! I'm here now. Are you?

I feel better every time I hear other people have fucked up memories. I can't even know what my memory would be like without the clumsy concussions of my university life, but it's good to have company.

Not from 30 mins back if you haven't changed the channel?

No, not that way, not as a unit of television. But I have a Series 1: maybe the later versions handle it differently.

My TiVo (s2) asks me if I want to record in Best quality--if so, it goes as much as 30 minutes back, depending on when you changed the channel. If not, it starts from when you hit record.

That would be different, yes.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Damnit. I got ambitious with my workout since my back didn't hurt anymore after swimming, so I decided to lie down on the floor and do leg lifts and situps. Then I couldn't get off the floor without serious maneuvering since I had managed to fuck up my lower back again. An hour of the heating pad let me get off the couch and here to the computer desk, but I fear the trek to the bathroom and bedroom to sleep. The heating pad is coming with me to bed.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I skipped the last 600 or so posts (my wireless card and laptop are having a spat) so I apologize if the following is repeated information.

tommyrot, I saw the FBI STOP RAPING MY WIFE dude on Daley Plaza this afternoon and did a little googling. Scroll down for a conversation with Farhad. The Chicagoist link in that story doesn't really clarify anything but it is a rather bizarre read. It's interesting that some people believe that it's performance art, a psychological experiment or potentially, viral marketing. Photos from Chicago, NY, and DC.
