Alas, misusing commas isn't as funny as I had thought.
Unfortunately, you can't use whips and chains.
I was trying to go along with the joke.

ION, what's the last thing that made you smile?
Having a bunch of working, professional actors say very very kind things about my own acting.

(Crap, that tag isn't gonna close today)
Mom and her sister looked for a few minutes before they could even figure out where they house they had grown up in was located on the property--the only way they were able to locate it was by the one tree that was still standing.
That's so sad - I can't imagine what that would be like.
I think about 1/3 or 1/2 of the land my parents have already sold is gonna stay farmland (probably for as long as the new owners keep it, but they're both old farmers, so...). Hopefully whoever buys the buildings will keep them up.
The house I grew up in, we tore down when I was in 9th grade and built a new house in its place. So I'm not quite as attached to that house as I could be.

I thought it was funny! But then I got distracted by how much I want to go home now, after more than one adrenaline crash today.

Watchin' the "Boundin'" short on YouTube.
In German.
Really? How do they translate "jackalope?"

They don't. They just say it all Colnel Kilnk-like.
Here it is. It's my new favorite thing. [link]
The people who bought my mom's house cut down the 100+yo oak tree on the front lawn. I haven't been by to see it yet, and it's probably better if I don't....
I've mentioned this before, but the farm's been in the family for three generations... I'll be sad when it's sold....
Aw, I will soon be in the same situation, and I expect to cry and cry. I miss the farmhouse where I grew up way more than I miss the people I grew up with. I never want to go back after it's sold, though. It would break my heart if someone changed it too much.
The last thing that made me smile was realizing that my boss was not coming in to work today. I think I'm starting to hate my job, and that's really gonna fuck up my life plans. Such as they are.
