I'm trying to decide if I should ask Daniel to entertain me this evening because there's a very good chance that otherwise I'll fall asleep when I get home and then I will wake up at midnight and be up all night and then I will feel worse tomorrow than I do today and then I will throw myself under a bus.

Hey! You can;t just start putting semi-colons anywhere; willy-nilly! They have a place; and should stay there.
Their place is wherever they want to be; any right-thinking person would agree with me.
In their exuberance, they sometimes throw themselves into the comma's place, although not nearly as often as the comma usurps the semicolon's rightful seat.

I find that this is generally true, most right-thinking people think so also. It makes me sad when the comma oversteps its bounds, however I think there's not much that can be done for it.
I don't want to interrupt all this semicolon talk, but you know what's great about today? Feels like 3:30, IS 4:30!
