This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

bon, there is a coinstar machine where you could do that not far from your job. The DR on Beaver.

mac isn't quite up to charging for things ( I used to charge my parents for drawings I made), but he LOVES finding pennies and he just got two dollars in the mail and was all kissing them and saying "I love this"!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

That's good to know, though there's no way I'm dragging several pounds of coins to work. I have a man in for that kind of thing.

Actually, he gets all my change. I just give it all to him when the change purse gets full. Who knows what he does with it; I'm pretty sure you can't get hookers and drugs with thirty five nickels.

If he saves them up, like a good boy....

What is even happening?

I wonder if he plays some weird heads-or-tails thing when he's philosophizing, bon bon.

I trudged home through the snow, only to find that the ice had knocked-out power in my neighborhood. I have work that I need to finish before tomorrow, so I had to trudge back to my office to do it. I suppose it was time for an all-nighter anyway. I might catch up on a few things.

On the plus side, three boxes of Girl Scout cookies were delivered to my office this afternoon, so I won’t go hungry.

Uhg. I'm just hoping that doesn't happen here. My power has been surprisingly resiliant in the past, but no power or no water pretty much put my first world not-dealable reactions to 11. I suppose the Home Depot or Giant has redundant power...I could always take the cats there!

Great. They just came through the parking lot with a plow. Before the rain. Which equals a rock hard berm behind my car I'll need to shovel. And then ice.

If this pans out as threatened, I may be staying home tomorrow.

There are chunks of ice striking my windows. It's freaking out the cats. One think it's out to get her, the other is...needy. Which he always is, but still.

anyone home?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

mac is hilarious. As are those ridic TV news ads. And bon bon's music choices.

It was so pretty outside here just now, except for the fact that the driving wind was turning the pretty pretty snow into cutting bits of ice flying at me at a million miles an hour. Ah well. At least I can smoke inside, unlike my downstairs neighbor, who I saw outside.
