Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

What is even happening?

I wonder if he plays some weird heads-or-tails thing when he's philosophizing, bon bon.

I trudged home through the snow, only to find that the ice had knocked-out power in my neighborhood. I have work that I need to finish before tomorrow, so I had to trudge back to my office to do it. I suppose it was time for an all-nighter anyway. I might catch up on a few things.

On the plus side, three boxes of Girl Scout cookies were delivered to my office this afternoon, so I won’t go hungry.

Uhg. I'm just hoping that doesn't happen here. My power has been surprisingly resiliant in the past, but no power or no water pretty much put my first world not-dealable reactions to 11. I suppose the Home Depot or Giant has redundant power...I could always take the cats there!

Great. They just came through the parking lot with a plow. Before the rain. Which equals a rock hard berm behind my car I'll need to shovel. And then ice.

If this pans out as threatened, I may be staying home tomorrow.

There are chunks of ice striking my windows. It's freaking out the cats. One think it's out to get her, the other is...needy. Which he always is, but still.

anyone home?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

mac is hilarious. As are those ridic TV news ads. And bon bon's music choices.

It was so pretty outside here just now, except for the fact that the driving wind was turning the pretty pretty snow into cutting bits of ice flying at me at a million miles an hour. Ah well. At least I can smoke inside, unlike my downstairs neighbor, who I saw outside.

Thrive to spite them

I was watching American Idol and hockey and now I'm just watching hockey. And doing dishes.

It was raining here, I need to find my umbrella for tomorrow.

Thoughts on AI: I was a little disappointed that they condensed this part of the show down to one hour. But it was interesting to see that some of the featured contestants got cut. I felt sorry for Bailey because she got shafted being paired up with the best friends. And was it the flirty twin that said God likes good people???? I can't remember if the one who said it got cut, I hope she did. I hope Bailey tries again.

Thankfully "My daddy shot my step mama and then hisself" got cut I really didn't want to see that sob story again.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

And bon bon's music choices.

Now up: the incomparable Stevie Nicks. an age-old...desire...to be...on the edge of...SEVENTEEN!

All my songs have asscaps in the lyrics.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm here.

mac is hilarious. As are those ridic TV news ads. And bon bon's music choices.

Jesse says what I'm thinking.

I do believe I'll be working from home tomorrow again. There's no signs of the sleet letting up.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Now up: the incomparable Stevie Nicks. an age-old...desire...to be...on the edge of...SEVENTEEN!

I have not lived with my sister for about (thinks) 26 or 27 years. Maybe even closer to 30 (I can't remember when, exactly, she moved out).

My sister's Stevie Thing is so strong that TO THIS DAY, I know damn near all the lyrics to damn near everything she did before around 1982.
