I'd rather have the evening bright time -- I don't want to do gardening or go walking first thing in the morning, because it is the time that I spend blinking and fighting my way to consciousness.

I'm torn. I really would like the possibility of leaving school while it's still light, but getting up in the morning is doubly hard for me when it's dark out.
Mostly, I just don't like working. Where's my millions?
Happy Birthday, Tommyrot!
I wouldn't mind DST except I had to get up at 7 am (okay, really 8 am, but it felt like 7) to go running with my sister, and that was hard. But I had a good run, even did the extra half-mile with the hills.
However we run weekdays at 6 am, and it was just starting to get light again in the mornings this week, and now with DST it'll be dark dark dark again for a while. I'm tired of having to wear a reflective vest and run in the pitch dark. t whines
This week I get some special training and it will include a tour of a Coast Guard cutter, which I'm looking forward to. On the down side, I'm going to have to drive to work every day because the training is offsite and that will be a hassle.

Emily, check your email in a second, please.
On one hand, I hate getting up earlier (shocker, that.) On the other, I prefer more evening light. And right now, I'm congratulating myself on actually getting up much earlier than I did yesterday based on the old time.

I mistook your board name for Cashmere's, and almost nagged you to death for running hills with your back, and since you have the Shingles, which you would, if you were Cashmere, but you don't, since you're Consuela. Oy. Some days I feel the caffeine cutback more than others.
JZ, if you are emailing out millions, my profile addy is good.
Happy Birthday, tommyrot!
When I'm in shape for it, I really really love running hills, because of the downhill swoop which is like flying. Even if you have to pay for it with the uphill grind.
The one piece of published fiction I have (in a local anthology sponsored by the city Arts Council) is about running in the hills. So I guess it's not really fiction... *g*
Alas, no millions. But replied to, though I imaging JZ will never speak to me again. Sigh.
Pffffffft. I can't imagine JZ would do that, or that you'd do something to provoke her.
