THE CLOCKS WENT FORWARD.
Why couldn't I have remembered that before a) staying out late and b) taking the muscle relaxant?
I still have to wait for it to work before I can sleep, I guess.
Saw 300, and it's a pretty guaranteed migraine-inducer, especially in IMAX. Which I didn't think of until I was already seated. Still, enjoyable, even though I had to rest my eyes a few times. Totally stunned by the Rodrigo Santoro performance, and I do have to say...Xerxes? Total go'a'uld. Total.
And that's just for starters.
We went with some of the visual effects guys--the one we know did some of the blood. Lots to go round. But it was nice and nostalgic to cheer for the latter parts of the credits.
Okay, I'm gonna lie down now and think muscularly relaxing thoughts.
Great. Board time's fucked.
Now I get to wonder if it's still screwed up.
Cats woke me at the (real) 5 AM to be fed. Despite the fact that they never get fed until 6. If I was really mean, I wouldn't feed them until 7 this morning....
Yes, I think board time is still screwed up. It's 6:55 AM here, for comparison.
Real time, Eastern, is 8:17 as I'm composing. Board time should be 5:17, but reads 4:17.
My computer didn't implode with the time change. Kids still got up at the same time, but that means they slept until 7 today.
edit: board time's still frelled, though.
Christopher is all upset about the time change. He said, "How am I going to know the right time."
I explained about time being a human construct and how as long as people agree on the time, it's the time. He didn't use these exact words, but it seems he thinks that's somewhere between cheating and lying.

'cause he's a GENIUS!
Heh. Just wait until he has to grok that money is a human concept as well.
