We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

That is terrific, ita! And that shorter commute has got to help your stress levels--maybe you won't get so many migraines?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yay, Robin!

Yay, ita!

Plaer than I look - it means even though I have a slight tan most of the year - people at makeup counters always start me a shade or 7 darker than I am.

I suspect this is SOP. They always start me darker and work down. The overlay of freckles doesn't help much there.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That commute sounds much better, whichever one it turns out to be. And waking up without a migraine is awesome.

I'm always amazed at how light a foundation ends up working on me. It just doesn't fit my self-image, which is much tanner than real self. Also thinner and probably taller, but I manage to pick out clothes that fit without blowing my mind.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I really need to make bread, since I can't snack without it.

The thing I want to make is brownies, which is even more reason I should make bread, right? Right?

Ugh. I kind of don't want to make either, since migraine's still kinda here. Perhaps I'll order pizza!

It's possible to make the assumption that the security of income + reduced commute stress will result in me having fewer migraines. I think I'm gonna go with that. And see a doctor Monday about a nerve block anyway.

Yeah, pizza.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm making bread now! Or, you know, tomorrow. I also have plans to make more of that delicious broccoli cheddar soup.

Also thinner and probably taller, but I manage to pick out clothes that fit without blowing my mind.

OK, now I'm picturing you at the makeup counter, and the salesperson is going, "So, are you going to buy paper-white foundation.... or did I just blow your MIND??"

Yay Robin! Yay ita!

I just took a three hour nap. Oops. Now I need to figure out what to make for dinner.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So I went to Papa John's online, but then they asked me for credit card information, and that means getting out of bed, so I caught up in Bitches instead. Which has done nothing to bring food closer to my stomach.

Maybe if I get some ginger ale on the way to the credit cards (am I really on some low glycemic index regimen?) I can finally finish the order.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I caught up in Bitches instead. Which has done nothing to bring food closer to my stomach.

No, sadly it does not, but it brings us closer to your heart....

Which is to say, YAY iTA! Go you with your new job.

I so almost ordered from Papa John's tonight. But I settled for spinach fetticine instead.

So. I just went through all my foreign coins. I have a lot of Austrian coins, oddly. Didn't spent much time there (maybe a week, tops.) But I have a fair amount of Soviet kopeks and rubles. Stamped from the '50s and '60s. Kinda weird. At first I thought they might be my grandparents' relics, but I have no swedish crowns, so they are probably my acquisitions from 1991. I guess I left most of my czech koruny and hellers with my friends there.

It's odd to think I have currency worth nothing now, but that has historical relevence. I have paper rubles from 1961. Odd.
